Our ARF is, in essence, the Kit version completed under ideal conditions.
For that reason, the Kit is designed from the very beginning as a fully validated and complete building system.
Every structure and assembly sequence has already been proven through the ARF build process. This ensures that, regardless of who builds it, the final result is accurate, consistent, and predictable.
The Kit intentionally minimizes sanding and cutting, and incorporates extensive fool-proof and self-aligning features. Parts can only be assembled the correct way, allowing the builder to focus on understanding the engineering logic, not fixing mistakes.
What you experience is not simple assembly,
but the act of following a real aircraft’s engineering path to build a J-3 Cub properly.
When it is finished and ready to fly, what you have is not just a model,

For scale flight, a 40–55 cc multi-cylinder or single-cylinder engine is recommended. For aerobatic flight, a 50–85 cc engine is recommended.
The KIT requires assembly in accordance with the instructions and includes the landing gear, basic navigation lights, fuel tank, and scale detail parts.
The KIT does not include heat-shrink covering, metal part painting, the engine, electronic equipment, or the instrument-seat lighting system. The engine cowling must be drilled according to engine requirements and assembled in accordance with the instructions.
